About The Documentary: HAPPY TO HELP
Proposition 28 provides nearly $1 billion annually in funding for establishing a new, ongoing program supporting arts instruction in schools. The funding will be rolled out beginning this fall for the 2023–24 school year.
Prop 28 has brought funding to schools and is intended for bringing music into the schools for educational purposes. We want these funds to be dispersed to students in the very best educational ways and that includes children with special needs. We will educate and inform others about how music has the power to bring healing and happiness. We are uniting with companies and organizations that can help bring adaptive instruments into the programs for these children. The funding is there already for use... let's make sure it is used to the best potential for the children. All students matter.
It has been noted by several music therapists and music education specialists that The Beatles music has the most profound results with the children with disabilities.

HOW IT STARTED: (Story by Lucky Bailey)
So... last month I was editing a show on my computer and I suddenly had a thought, "I haven't done a documentary. Do I want to?" I instantly said to myself, "Ew. I don't do documentaries. Not my thing." I went along with my day. The next day suddenly I had A STRONG FEELING instead of a thought, "YOU REALLY WANT TO DO A DOCUMENTARY." I replied to my feeling, "OK. BUT WHAT WILL I TALK ABOUT?" I had no reply. I then replied to the feeling, 'WHO DO I KNOW THAT ID DO A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT?" .. **INSTANTLY** ONLY ONE NAME CAME TO MIND. And she needed me as much as I needed her. It began from this day because I contacted her INSTANTLY! Then as confirmation...more things came about that brought tears to my eyes. Supernatural happenings. I'll tell you more about that later. #happytohelp

Carly's Cause was founded in 2014 with the support and mentorship of the late Frank Shankwitz- Founder of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Ron Klein- inventor of the magnetic strip on credit cards. Initially we set out to provide iPads to children who were nonverbal, and to teach communication techniques to parents and teachers. As the company progressed, we created programs to teach inclusion through music and art, and a parent support group. As we continue to grow, we hope to expand our relationships and reach within the community in San Diego County.
